Why Buy From Us?
We want horse purchasing to be easy and fun. We price our horses fairly and provide excellent customer service after the sale. We accept payments to make horses more affordable, with a payment plan tailored to each individual buyer. We normally ask for a minimum of 25% of the purchase price down, and payments made monthly or bi-weekly until the horse is paid off – we are flexible. We accept personal and business checks (as long as they have 4 weeks to clear our bank before the horse is picked up), money orders/bank checks, credit cards via PayPal (plus a 2.9% transaction fee) or cash. Payments must be complete before the horse leaves our farm. Boarding is free until payments are completed. If the horse is not picked up within 30 days of the completed sale, we charge a nominal boarding fee of $2/day.
Need help getting your horse home? We can recommend haulers that we have used in the past, and are willing to help with shipping arrangements. We pride ourselves on our reputation and try our best to please our customers. We have references if you would like to contact some of our previous customers.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. There are only a few silver buckskin Icelandic horses in the US, and I don’t believe any of them are also dun. Silfri is a gentleman and is flashy and kind. He has hair to spare, with a gorgeous long forelock. He will make a great trail mount for an experienced rider with time to finish him. This thickly built, triple dilute gelding is a worker, he wants to be with you and he wants to learn. He was retained as a stallion prospect, but we have decided housing a second stallion was not an avenue we wanted to pursue. He did sire three nice foals before he was gelded in the summer of 2016. This easy to catch gelding has been turned out with mares and geldings and is well socialized. Both of Silfri’s parents have solid, natural tolt under saddle, and I expect he will follow in their footsteps. He shows a good three beat canter in the field. I suspect he is four gaited.
He has been brought in to begin saddle training and is progressing toward the saddle quickly. The training method I use is based on building trust by breaking all training down into small steps, and not moving on until we have mastered each small step. He has thrived in this program and I believe he will be easy to finish. He has not yet been saddled but is progressing through his groundwork. He enjoys human company and attention. His training will continue here until sold (he’s fun to work with!).
He measured 13.1 last year (measured with a tape), but he appears much larger and could hold a large rider easily. He is an extremely easy keeper (no grain!) with good feet. He has never had any health issues and is UTD on deworming and vaccinations (5-way +WNV). His teeth were floated in 2016.
